Gold Coast artist and Illustrator Demi Croci.

"I have been nurturing a creative practice after a successful corporate career in the finance industry since 2015. My style has seen many variations until ultimately settling on Watercolour as my medium of choice.

I explore themes of home, my natural surroundings and living by the ocean as well as Aussie Larrikinism. I am fascinated by the Aussie backyard with many hiding a tropical oasis from suburban life. This is how 'Suburban Tropicana' was born. A series of bold watercolour works depicting tropical plants from my Gold Coast garden and the birds that come to visit. The aim of the series is to produce images that are playful and really celebrates Australian coastal backyards".
